Small Steps, Big Impact: JMS Students Lead the Way in Renewable Energy and Sustainable Agriculture

In celebration of Earth Day, students at Jakarta Multicultural School (JMS) took meaningful action to demonstrate how small efforts can lead to a lasting impact on our planet. Under the global theme “Our Power, Our Planet,” JMS students engaged in hands-on activities that reflect a strong commitment to environmental sustainability.

This year’s celebration featured inspiring student-led projects that combined science, creativity, and eco-conscious values. With great enthusiasm, students conducted an experiment generating electricity from mud, a simple yet powerful way to introduce the concept of renewable energy. Additionally, they practiced planting seeds using eco-friendly fertilizer, applying principles of sustainable agriculture and soil preservation.
